My parents divorced when I...I so GET this posting. My parents divorced when I was 7 or 8. Funny that I don't remember much of my childhood. When my mom remarried, she had him adopt my sister an I. He was abusive and cruel at times, leaving me wistful and jealous of other's relationships with their father. When I married and had children it was extremely important to me that I create a stable home, and was a present father figure.
